I was a Cross-Area QA Lead at Fortnite and helped to expand the team to cover 5 game modes, having different testing roles and mode assignment tasking.
My objective was for the QA team to have a solid approach to game quality, learn about programming and game components as well as understanding the impact of changes in-game.
I implemented this by creating quality strategies giving focus to technical knowledge (UE5 & C++), gaming knowledge (Game Design, Game Components) and quality criteria (Impact analysis, Test scenarios, KPIs).
